Merry Monday #219 & MFT Sketch Challenge #304

Hi everyone,
I'm back to play along in a few challenges...I'm determined to create a lot of cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive, so the first is for the Merry Monday challenge...

We are being asked to use a bird on our Christmas card, and this little guy from PTI Petite Pots is one of my faves. I watercolord the wreath with Peerless, and spritzed with some Perfect Pearls for shimmer. I also added some Glossy Accents to the berries for shine.

********************

My 2nd card is for the current MFT Sketch Challenge.

I bought this month's kit, and it made me almost eligible for the free set of dies (those cute little trees). I colored the goggles with Copics and added Glossy Accents for fun. I also used the SSS Falling Snow stencil with embossing paste and added a little bit of sparkle to the snowflakes! Oh, and did I mention that I flipped the sketch?

So, that's it for me...

Thanks so much for stopping by ~

Barb,
Loving both cards, it is so fun to flip a sketch and yet still remain true to the shapes. Great job on both.

That bear is so cute, Barb and I'm glad you got the trees to add to the scene. That wreath is one of my favorites and it's great with a bluebird.
